Last week, Mendocino County sheriff's deputies arrested two Willits residents on marijuana charges, after a search of their home revealed more than 300 marijuana plants.

Shanna Miller, 27, and Michael McClure, 24, were both arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale, cultivation of marijuana and being armed in commission of a felony at a home at 25981 Tucker Lane at 1 p.m. Thursday.

According to sheriff's reports, members of the County of Mendocino Marijuana Eradication Team served a search warrant on the Tucker Lane home and found a "sophisticated indoor grow operation."

Officers seized 315 growing marijuana plants, an unknown amount of processed marijuana, a digital scale and a pistol, according to sheriff's reports.

Miller and McClure were both booked into the Mendocino County Jail on the listed charges. They were released after paying a $25,000 bond each.
